InfraPulse is LDD’s managed infrastructure monitoring service. It watches your servers, network and virtualised hosts in real time, alerts your team the moment something breaks, and is available in three service levels: self-managed Platform, Co-Managed, or fully Managed with South African support and an SLA.
What is InfraPulse?
InfraPulse is a managed infrastructure monitoring product from LDD (Logix Design and Development), a South African IT company with more than 20 years of experience. It is part of the LDD Pulse product family, sitting alongside VaultPulse for backup and ThreatPulse for security. InfraPulse continuously watches your servers, network devices, applications and virtualised hosts, tells you the moment something goes wrong, and gives you the dashboards and history to understand why.
InfraPulse is built on an enterprise-grade monitoring engine wrapped in the LDD management layer. You get the depth and flexibility of a serious monitoring platform without having to build, host, tune and babysit it yourself.
Monitoring, not backup
InfraPulse is a monitoring service. It does not back up your servers or data, and backups are not bundled into InfraPulse. If you need backup, it is available as an optional add-on through LDD’s separate product, VaultPulse. LDD maintains, updates and keeps the hosted InfraPulse platform itself running on your behalf, but protecting your business data is handled by VaultPulse, not InfraPulse.
Three service levels: who manages day-to-day?
InfraPulse comes in three service levels so you can choose how much you run yourself and how much you hand to LDD. The simplest way to think about it is who manages day-to-day: you, a shared team, or LDD.
Platform (self-service)
The self-managed tier. LDD hosts and maintains the monitoring platform for you, and your team manages day-to-day — you configure checks, watch dashboards and respond to alerts yourself. Ideal if you have in-house IT and just want a powerful, hosted platform without the build-and-maintain overhead.
Co-Managed
Shared management between you and LDD. Day-to-day is shared — you keep control of the areas you want to run, while LDD takes on agreed monitoring, tuning and alert handling. A good fit when your team is capable but stretched, or when you want LDD’s expertise on the trickier systems.
Managed (full)
The fully managed tier. LDD manages day-to-day: full alert response, proactive monitoring, ongoing tuning, South African–based support and a defined SLA. At this tier you also get AI-bot-assisted alert triage and SLA and capacity reporting. Best when you want infrastructure monitoring to simply be handled.

What InfraPulse monitors
InfraPulse supports both agent and agentless monitoring across Windows, Linux, network gear and virtualised hosts, using SNMP, IPMI, SSH, WMI and custom checks. That means you can cover almost anything in your estate without forcing an agent onto every device.
- Real-time metrics — CPU, memory, disk, network, and services or processes, sampled continuously.
- Threshold alerting — severity levels, escalation paths and dependency-aware suppression so one root failure does not bury you in noise.
- Multi-channel notifications — including Telegram, with AI-bot-assisted alert triage at the Managed tier.
- Live dashboards and reporting — trend graphs, network maps and historical reporting to spot problems before they bite.
- SLA and capacity reporting — available at the Managed tier.
Bespoke templates for systems off-the-shelf tools ignore
Generic monitoring tools cover the obvious basics and stop there. LDD builds bespoke templates for the line-of-business systems that actually run South African businesses, including SYSPRO ERP, RiteScan and BarTender, Active Directory health, IIS application pools and other line-of-business applications. If a system matters to your operation, InfraPulse can watch it.
Built for multiple sites and remote branches
InfraPulse supports distributed monitoring through an on-site proxy or collector with encrypted transport. The collector sits inside each site, monitors locally and reports back securely, which makes InfraPulse a strong fit for multi-site organisations and remote branches. It pairs naturally with LDD’s network design and implementation and cloud hosting and infrastructure services.
Delivered worldwide
InfraPulse is delivered remotely, so location is no barrier. LDD serves clients in South Africa, Ireland, Portugal, the UK, the EU and worldwide. Compliance is handled to GDPR alongside POPIA, so your monitoring data is managed in line with the regulations that apply to you.
Pricing
InfraPulse is priced by quote (POA). Pricing depends on the service level you choose and the size and complexity of your estate. Contact LDD for a tailored quote and we will scope the right tier for your environment.
InfraPulse FAQ
Does InfraPulse include backups?
No. InfraPulse is an infrastructure monitoring service and backups are not part of it. If you need backup, it is available as an optional add-on through LDD’s separate product, VaultPulse. LDD does keep the hosted InfraPulse platform itself maintained and updated, but protecting your business data is handled by VaultPulse rather than InfraPulse.
Can I manage InfraPulse myself?
Yes. The Platform service level is fully self-managed: LDD hosts and maintains the monitoring platform while your team handles day-to-day configuration and alert response. If you would rather share the load or hand it over entirely, you can choose Co-Managed or fully Managed instead.
What are the three InfraPulse service levels?
InfraPulse comes in three tiers based on who manages day-to-day. Platform is self-managed (you manage, LDD hosts). Co-Managed shares management between your team and LDD. Managed is fully run by LDD, with full alert response, proactive monitoring, South African support and an SLA.
What can InfraPulse monitor?
InfraPulse supports agent and agentless monitoring across Windows, Linux, network gear and virtualised hosts using SNMP, IPMI, SSH, WMI and custom checks. It tracks real-time CPU, memory, disk, network and service metrics, and includes bespoke templates for systems like SYSPRO ERP, RiteScan/BarTender, Active Directory and IIS application pools.
Can InfraPulse monitor multiple sites and remote branches?
Yes. InfraPulse supports distributed monitoring via an on-site proxy or collector with encrypted transport. Each site is monitored locally and reports back securely, which makes it well suited to multi-site businesses and remote branches.
Which countries does LDD deliver InfraPulse to?
